This is an English-language convenience translation of Curcuna's Turkish Terms of Service. It is provided to help non-Turkish-speaking users understand our terms. The Turkish version is the legally binding text; in case of any discrepancy between the two, the Turkish version shall prevail.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the relationship between you and Enes Yüksel ("Provider", "we"), who develops and operates the Curcuna mobile app ("the App"), when you download the App, create an account, or use it. By using the App, you agree to these Terms; if you do not agree, you must not use the App.
Curcuna is a mobile app offering multiplayer party and word games played "pass-and-play" style, handed from player to player on the same phone. Game rounds, hidden roles, scores and your progress are kept only on your own device; this data is not sent to or stored on our servers.
Some games within the App may include fictional alcohol-themed content designed to mimic a real-life party (e.g. "Truth or Dare"). See Section 3 for specific terms governing such games.
You may only sign in to the App with your Google or Apple account; a separate email/password registration is not offered. You are responsible for the security and confidentiality of your Google or Apple account, and for all activity that occurs through your account.
We store your name, email address, and (if you upload one) your profile photo in connection with your account. If you upload a profile photo, that image is hosted by our authentication provider and used only to display your account information; rights to the image remain yours. For details on how your data is processed, see our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your jurisdiction) to use the App. If you are under this age, you must not use the App.
About alcohol-themed games: Games such as "Truth or Dare" present a fictional, entertainment-oriented "penalty" mechanism and do not encourage or require actual alcohol consumption. You may only play such games responsibly and with people who are of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction. We do not encourage the misuse of alcohol; you alone are responsible for your own safety and that of those around you when playing these games, and the Provider accepts no liability in this regard.
Some categories and content in the App are offered free of charge; content marked as locked ("Premium Content") requires a subscription.
You can try Premium Content free of charge for 3 days from the date your account was created. The trial period is tied to your account's creation date; deleting and reinstalling the App does not reset the trial.
You can subscribe to Premium Content on a monthly, yearly, or one-time lifetime-access basis. Purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play; current prices are shown by the relevant store at the time of purchase and may change without prior notice. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled.
You may only cancel your subscription through your Apple or Google account settings; cancellation does not affect your access for the remainder of the period you have already paid for. Refunds are handled not by the Provider directly, but under the refund policies of the store (Apple or Google) through which you made the purchase.
All games, word lists, categories, artwork, logos and brand elements within the App belong to the Provider and are protected by copyright. You are granted only a limited, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, reverse-engineer, or use the App's content for commercial purposes.
By using the App, you agree not to:
If we detect conduct that violates these rules, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without prior notice (see Section 8).
The App uses Clerk for authentication, RevenueCat for subscription and payment management, and Sentry for error and performance monitoring; your purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. These services' own terms of use and privacy policies apply; in particular, your in-app purchases are subject to Apple's/Google's own terms. You can permanently delete your account at any time from within the App via Settings > Delete Account. This deletes your account with our authentication provider and the associated server-side records (your name, email, profile photo link, subscription status) after a short delay. Account deletion does not delete purchase history retained by Apple, Google, or our payment infrastructure provider for legal and accounting purposes; such records are subject to those providers' own retention policies.
We may suspend or terminate your account without prior notice if you breach these Terms, engage in unlawful activity, or threaten the security of the App. These Terms end when you delete your account or stop using the App; however, provisions that by their nature should survive (Sections 5, 9, 10, 11, 12) remain in effect.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available." The Provider makes no warranty, express or implied, that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or entirely free of security vulnerabilities.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Provider's total liability arising from these Terms is limited to the total amount you actually paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the date the claim arose, if you have a paid subscription, or to 50 TRY if you do not. The Provider shall not be liable under any circumstances for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of profit or data).
You agree to indemnify the Provider against any claims, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your improper or unlawful use of the App.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced within the App or on this page. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Provider regarding your use of the App.
